I’ve been kind of buried in a few projects.
I did switch out the Allstate and the Nationwide policies to xxxxx.
I also made a number of coverage changes (addled loss of rents, increased
my umbrella to $3M, changed to full tort, dropped Dad’s umbrella since he no longer
drives but upped his house coverage to $500K, dropped the deductibles to
$500 from $1000) and all in all, I think my Father and I saved between $100 and
$200 per year. Better coverage, lower price, easier company to work with if there
is a claim. I wouldn’t have done it had we not met at lunch.
